Apparently there is an ancient city in Bulgaria called Seuthopolis. It dates from the fourth century before Christ. In 1948 they found the remains of the city curing construction of a new dam. In 1954 the city was covered under water when the dam broke. Now they plan to excavate the lost city and bring it back for the sake of tourism. When it’s done visitors will be able to take a boat out to the city and cruz around and enjoy places to eat, shop, a museum, a hotel complex, you can rent bikes, fishing and other sport type activities.
