Simply put, the Cham furniture collection by KAMKAM is children’s furniture for adults. Located in Korea, KAMKAM is a design consortium consisting of three main designers: Hyunjin Seo, Jaekyoung Kim and Jaehoon Jung. The concept behind this collection was to design furniture for adults that retained the playfulness of kid’s furniture — combining the functionality and textiles of clothing with the simple design and inviting feel of children’s room furnishings. All pieces are upholstered with soft fabrics and bright colors that will draw your eye, and all the doors are secured with either large buttons or belts to resemble a coat or warm wool jacket. Take your pick between these three whimsical pieces — a storage cabinet, bench and stool — and add some playfulness to your otherwise boring adult furniture.
