SE Bikes is a company known predominantly for their BMX and freestyle bike heritage, makers of the famed P.K. Ripper bike of the 80s (named after proto-BMX racer Perry Kramer). But in a rebirth they’ve decided to get somewhat civilized and also enter the fixed gear and single speed bike world. Their series includes 4 single-speeds and one fixie, in an array of vivid colors. The same quality construction and sleek look they use in their other designs now appeal to those who have a different style of riding, or perhaps have grown older. Of note are their eye-catching color combos popular in the fixie universe: silver and blue, pink and black, and a classy all white minimal design as well as an all black look for their fixie (which also sports the iconic “P.K. Ripper” logo). The prices range from $290 for their “Draft” style to $800 for the “P.K. Fixed Gear” model.
