It seems Martin Margiela has an obsession with wood for 2011, and thinking way outside the box with the material. On Monday we shared with you the Belgian designer’s Wood Effect Shoes, and today comes the Wooden Wallet. Whereas the shoes were simply an applied effect on real napa leather, however, this wallet is actually made of wood lacquered in a high quality finish. Inside the Italian made wallet/card holder is lined in premium tan leather, and comes with four separate card slots and an elastic strap for extra support. Pick it up at Oki-Ni for $410.
