Swiss watchmakers Bell & Ross have done an excellent job of taking basically one model and jazzing it up in a zillion different “limited” editions (Black-Out Edition, Carbon Fiber, etc etc), so we usually tend to ignore them (we did, admittedly, really sweat their Carbon Fiber Harley-Davidson). However their latest edition, the BR 01 Red Radar wristwatch, deserves a little shine. A variation on the very successful (and quickly sold-out) Radar watch they released last year, the BR 01 Red Radar adds a red-tinted glass to the case, making it look much more like the quintessential submarine radars we are all accustomed to. Unfortunately, due to the fact that you cannot tint sapphire crystal they use tinted glass for the case instead. Underneath three concentric discs sweeps through and display the hour, minutes and seconds. Price TBA, and it will hit showrooms soon.
