Wood As Modern Fiber Material?
This was an exercise in development by product designer Arndt Menke Zumbrägel in order to come up with a new pipe material made from wood. Looks like a success to me. But the idea of cutting down a tree for something like this seems a bit off for this day and age. Still doesn’t change the fact that this is one beautiful fixie. That woodwork on that back fork (not even sure what that is section of the bike is called?) is incredible. Arndt is one serious wood-whittler.
