Famed Spanish motorcycle-maker returns, but in electric form
After shutting its doors in 1983, the beloved Bultaco is back. The resurgence comes by way of the Rapitán, an in-house built all-electric bike. Highlights of the Spanish EV motorcycle include brushed air-cooled electric motor with 54 horsepower that gets up to 90 mph with an 87-mile range. Also noteworthy are the lithium-ion battery and the helmet-sized storage space in lieu of gas tank. Rumor has it that a sports edition of the Rapitán is in the works as well.
