I’m not rabidly enthusiastic about the idea of digitizing my vinyl collection. If I were, I’d definitely have an eye on Pro-Ject’s Debut III USB edition turntable. There are a lot of options out there, but those options are usually just novelty acts disguised as advanced technology. I haven’t personally used this turntable, but given Pro-Ject’s respect in the audiophile game, this has precision mechanics written all over it. And really, if you’re determined to get the best digital recording possible from your rare vinyl (cuz lets face it most music can be gotten for free online) you might as well invest in something that’ll spit out a top quality digital audio file.
