Certain to give any luxury cyclist a woody

French designer Paul Guerin and woodworker Till Breitfuss of Keim have united because they like to give bikes wood. Their first model, the Arvak, has a carefully tested hollow monocoque frame made from 24 layers of laminate ash wood, and an $11,000 price tag to match. The Arvak bike is custom shaped and comes with all the desired technical components you’d expect from a high-end machine — visit their site for more technical details. But be forewarned you might want to brush up on your French first, before you start trading in your car for some classy kindling on wheels.
