So we’ve been receiving a bunch of free music lately and a lot of it is just too good to keep to ourselves. Besides, it’s Monday so we all need a couple good reasons to get our weeks rolling. Yes, this list is hip-hop heavy, but ever since watching The Wackness I’ve been hitting my Wu collection pretty hard. Pretty much all good below, but take special note to Rae & Ghost (massive), the Cab Driver’s “Do You Remember”, and RZA’s Afro Samurai-inspired “Whar”. I’m mad dubious of Lil Wayne’s foray into Nu Metal — that shit sounds like an even more generic Limp Bizkit…and that’s pretty damned generic.
