After Dirty Projectors hits the road with TV On The Radio for a string of dates, the band will switch gears and headline several shows in support of their fifth release, Bitte Orca, which will be available June 9th On Domino Records. The limited headlining run will begin on June 17th in Philadelphia and end at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Dates below. The band, Amber Coffman (vocals, guitar), Angel Deradoorian (vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass), and drummer Brian Mcomber (from 2007’s Rise Above), will be adding bassist Nat Baldwin and vocalist Haley Dekle to the fold. I’m looking forward to hearing the collaborative effort. Oh yea, as a bonus, the album will also be available in a limited edition cassette tape. Sweet. Until the new album drops, here’s a few great tunes to get you in mood for the tour.
