Sculpting Sounds With Your Korg-DS 10
YMO “Rydeen” on Nintendo DS
Natto21 from Japan (I know this cuz his MySpace page tells me so) busted out his Korg-DS 10 and did a great cover of Yellow Magic Orchestra’s 1980’s hit “Rydeen.” Ryuichi Sakamoto would be proud…it sounds pretty damn close to the original—see video below. All you gaming nerds out there might recognize the techno-pop masterpiece from Sega’s 1982 title Super Locomotive. It was used as a continuous loop soundtrack in the game.
