This is about as futuristic as a bicycle can get. According to Olympic cyclist Chris Boardman, the man behind the idea for this ride, we probably wont see something like for years to come. There’s no harm in dreaming, though. The bike features things like a mini computer on the handlebars that’ll count calories and keep track of pedal rotation, it plays music, there’s a solar powered element to it that feeds into a battery-assisted motor that’ll take over if the rider gets tired, it features an unbreakable lock that’ll only open with fingerprint recognition and the spoke-less wheels and puncture-proof with self-inflating tires is a great touch.
