Capturing a moment we don’t often get to see

Iain_Crawford-8

If a photo represents a moment in time, London based beauty photographer Iain Crawford has a knack for capturing a moment we don’t often get to see. His photos literally break things down to hundredths of a second. A spec of dust or drop of water or drop of paint is frozen in mid-air. You can almost hear the sound of the water or paint the instant it makes contact. The graceful shape it takes as it bounces off the body. This is some of the most sophisticated, colorful and fun beauty shots I’ve seen yet. The fact that his subjects are all beautiful women is like gravy. It’s amazing how much detail can be captured with high-speed photography. Iain Crawford definitely inspires me to go buy a badass digital camera and see what I can do.
