I pretty much stopped watching MTV right after they killed the radio star. Ok, not right at day 1, cuz I did enjoy Randee of the Redwoods. That was a long ass time ago, tho. David Wexler, the creator of College Life on MTV, is the guy behind Evil Weed. Online info about the film tells me it was suppose to debut last month in October. I haven’t seen any info about screenings or show times. The fact that the trailer looks horrible might have something to do with that. It definitely doesn’t scream cult cannabis comedy in the making. Or even a campy take on Reefer Madness for the Internet generation. But what do I know, I don’t watch MTV.
