I’m sure this will come as a complete shock to all those who know about Liam Gallagher, but he found the inspiration to his new clothing line Pretty Green from a most unexpected source: himself. As much as I like Oasis’ music and yet conversely despise the Brothers Gallagher’s tiresome antics and egomanical self-absorption, I have to say there is much to like in Liam’s line — it’s simple, with classic pieces such as trenchcoats, cardigans, parkas and knitwear, all limited edition. A pleasant surprise. Prices range from about $60 for the scarves to over $1000 for the hill overcoat.
