Using e-ink to tell e-time
Japanese watchmakers Tokyoflash have invented a new timepiece that utilizes e-ink to display the time. Some thought e-ink could save publishing, nice to see its climactic use as a hyper-modern wristwatch instead. The eclock’s stainless steel wristband incorporates small holes through which the e-ink sheet’s graphic displays can be seen, both numerically and with a series of graphic bars. The watch can also sync with your mobile phone to vibrate when texts, messages, emails or calls come in, but really it just looks like a small piece of the future transplanted to the present to bling up your wrist.
