We were big fans of Missoni and Converse’s first collaboration, and these apples don’t fall far from that first tree. But really, where are you gonna go? We’re talking Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars high tops blended with high end Italian fashion house Missoni’s signature zigzag pattern — no reason to reinvent the wheel here. This first look at their 2010 Fall/Winter collection shows a bit more detail work, including premium tanned leather in the lining and tongue. Also, if I’m not mistaken the knit of the fabric looks a lot thicker this time, and with more muted, greyed color tones. Last time they were $200, expect about the same.
