The Palmer & Sons Suitcase No 03 certainly has a lot going for it. It’s a reworking of a vintage style, which is always highly appreciated. Apart from that, Palmer and Sons are proud to proclaim that each bag is “custom built one at a time”; this would decidedly make the vintage bag a one-of-a-kind as well. The No 03 comes in 5 different shades with brass/steel rivets throughout and can be carried like a traditional suitcase (handle up), strapped across your back, or even as a backpack — which would probably make it the most rugged school accessory available right now. I suppose the only thing going against this suitcase is its rigid frame…so, basically the part of the case that makes it a case..but that’s what the handle is for right? For 500 Canadian dollars you can have the Palmer & Sons Suitcase No 03 and they are willing to customize the bag even further to your liking. If any of these details intrigue you, check out more at Palmer & Sons. Meanwhile, check out a couple more pictures after the Jump…
could you please tell me how much a The Palmer & Sons Suitcase No 03 costs? and if there are retailers in the UK who sell them, if not, could you ship one out?
Reminds me of the suitcase I got issued by the Army when I enlisted in 1976 – very retro indeed! (minus the straps of course)
