If you have $23,000 burning a hole in your wallet, and you really like cognac, esteemed cognac maker Hennessy has the ideal offering for you: an exclusive Methusalem of their famed X.O. cognac. For the rare vintage the French distillery teamed up with high-end Italian shoemaker Berluti, who crafted the bespoke leather trunk the cognac comes in out of the same leather they make their shoes from. Each chest requires 70 hours to build, partly due to the intricate designs and maps etched onto it. Only 150 pieces of Hennessy’s ultra limited edition XO Mathusalem will be made, bottled in a hand-blown crystal decanter with its edition number engraved.
