For those who can remember what paper is, you may also remember what books are too — although you may be scratching your head wondering what a library is as you cling to your iPad while it downloads Stephen King’s latest lofty tome in under 3 minutes. As a girl, I played library after school in my room, with my books and the stamped library card that accompanies every book.
Now I use the date stamp in my journal and every single person who sees my pages comments on the date stamp. I think people resonate with that old analog libe vibe.
When I check out books, I use a cute folder of check-out forms I bought at Thé des Ecrivains in Paris. It’s in French, which makes it extra fun, of course.
