World's first Kosher scotch whisky, aged in American Oak

This new whisky from The Glenrothes is not named after its age, unlike most single malt scotches, but rather by the type of oak it is aged in — in this case American oak, aka Quercus Alba, in formerly used bourbon barrels. It is also the world’s first certified kosher scotch whisky, and is available only in limited release in the U.S. If you’re one of the lucky states, find it for about $60 — or troll the interwebs, where we found it for $50.
