The collaboration between Converse and Italian luxury fashion house Missoni returns, this time in two black and cream colorways, both with a visible embossed red leather tongue to accent. We previewed these back in June, but here’s a closer look. What we couldn’t tell from that first look is the asymmetry of the second pair’s upper fabric (above), which looks like an abstraction of the signature Missoni zigzag pattern — very well done.  We’ve loved the colorful originals, but this sophomore effort of the Chuck Taylor All Stars is a fittingly more muted look for fall. The high top sneakers hit stores in September, and will retail for $200.
