The King of Gary, Indiana, rapper Freddie Gibbs released the much-loved mixtape Str8 Killa No Filla a couple weeks back to much acclaim. This week, however, he’s removing all the tags from the audio (thank god) and making it a DJ-free mixtape. Along with guys like J Cole, Gibbs is undoubtedly one of the harbingers of the new school of rhymes, and it couldn’t come a second too soon.
