We’re excited to announce that Lost In a Supermarket will be receiving the all-new 2011 Audi A8 next week for a week long test drive — we couldn’t be more stoked. Premiered to much fanfare last winter at the Art Basel show in Miami, the car is just now hitting US press fleets, and we’ll be among the first to give it a full test. Featuring an all new light aluminum body, new MMI system, full LED headlights and new state-of-the-art driver assistance systems, the A8 will will not go on sale in the U.S. until late 2010. Although the A8 features a new 4.2L FSI direct-injection V8 with a potent 372-horsepower, what we’re actually most excited about is experiencing its uber-engineered interior that Audi is dubbing a Wellness Lounge for the senses. Hmmm…sounds like a bit of corny marketing speak, but we’re getting giddy anticipating it nonetheless. Expect a full report sometime next week…
