Off the sophomore album from Australia’s Midnight Juggernauts, Crystal Axis, comes the single and video “Lara Vs The Savage Pack”. The highly creative video was shot frame by frame, then re-shot using over 2000 printed pieces of paper. I dig the quasi-psychedelic animations; half kaliedescope, half paper madness. Directed by Lucinda Schreiber and Beatrice Pegard, the video is just the latest in a string of creative short films, limited edition vinyl and hand made Ts that Midnight Juggernauts have created lately to promote Crystal Axis, and now they’ve announced a string of US headlining dates this fall (full tour schedule after the Jump). Although the album Crystal Axis has been on iTunes for a minute, the album is hitting shelves on December 14th via Redeye Distribution.
