Whether the people in your life would prefer the Lanvin playing cards (above) or the H.P. Lovecraft Call of the Cthulhu playing cards (below) probably says a lot about you…and your friends. Of course, I’d like to drink some scotch and play poker deep into the night with people that enjoyed both sets, but that’s just me. I’m weird. I think I prefer Lovecraft’s, however, which depict the always handsome Cthulhu, Shub Niggurath and Nyarlathotep on the the face cards and Lovecraft himself as the joker. Plus, they’re way cheaper — pick up the Lanvin’s at colette for $80 and Lovecraft’s for $15.
