A new take on sustainable design, wooden watches from Los Angeles-based WeWOOD. The watches are carved and crafted from discarded wooden floor scraps, and completely free of toxic materials. Originally formed in Italy, the company brought with it to the States a sophisticated taste in design, and combined it with Los Angeles’ demand for eco-friendly products. The collection consists of two main designs, Date and Crono, both in various natural wood types and stains. The green company has even been combining forces with the non-profit organization American Forests, creating a deal where WeWOOD will plant a tree for every watch sold. Good taste and humanitarian contributions — these watches are the whole sustainable package.
