Wolfgang Büld's 1980 film in its entirety

A one-hour documentary made by German filmmaker Wolfgang Büld, Punk In England was filmed in 1980 as punk was fading out, and attempts to capture the scene at a point of transition from a revolution to the pop mainstream. The film is the second part of a trilogy, following Punk n London, and records the punk phenomena moving from London to the suburbs as the creative energy of punk inspired kids to experiment with new-wave, ska, mod and the rude boy music. The doc features performances by The Jam, The Adverts, Ian Dury, The Clash, The Specials, Madness, The Pretenders, Secret Affair and more, fully re-mastered from the original negative. Oh, and did we mention The Clash are prominently featured on it?
