Comme des Garçons lead designer Junya Watanabe revisits the classic American varsity jacket for his MAN Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. With CdG’s peerless eye on quality and authenticity, Watanabe selected to work with leather supplied by revered San Francisco leather manufacturers Johnsons, who supply leather workwear to the US military and police force. The highly exclusive jacket will be produced in “extremely limited” numbers, and features a 100% wool body, full cotton sateen lining, two front handwarmer pockets with contrast piping and tipping detail through collar and cuffs. Pick up the Japanese-made Varsity Jacket in blue or red at END for about $1,250 (£765).
