Only a few months after The Cool Kids dropped their long anticipated debut long player, When Fish Ride Bicycles, one-half of the The Kids — Sir Michael Rocks — releases his brand new solo mixtape for the wolrd to hear. Premier Politics takes the signature golden era boom-bap style of the Chicago denizens but gives it a bit of a twist, ensuring that the mixtape isn’t just a Cool Kids-divided-by-two product. Collaborators include Casey Veggies, The Alchemist, Cardo, Ski Beatz and of course Mikey Rocks’ Brother-in-Kids partner Chuck Inglish. Today he unveils the first video from the project, “I’m Doggin'”, which you can see below.
