The first watch displaying one-hundredth of a second intervals

Swiss watch maker TAG Heuer introduces its Carrera Mikrograph 1/100th — completely designed, patented, developed and manufactured by the folks at TAG. What sets the highly technical timepiece apart is a central hand that can measure and display time with 100th of a second precision. Two limited editions of the Mikrograph were launched by TAG Heuer with 150 pieces watches in each line — one was produced with a brown central dial while the other was made in anthracite grey. The technical innovation behind the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph was enough to win it the Prize of the Public at the prestigious Watch of the Year awards this past week.
