Intricate textile designs and patterns with earth-toned hues embody White Mountaineering’s Spring/Summer 2012 Footwear Collection that includes lace-up boots, high and low top sneakers. The sneakers are characterized by leather uppers, patterned cloth, and bold colored contrasts in the toe and heel area while sand hued leather boots have embroidered details. Yosuke Aizawa, the creator of the esteemed Japanese brand, studied at the Department of Product and Textile Design at Tama Art University and it’s interesting to note how he incorporates textile design into wearable materials in his apparel and footwear collections.
