The original “Dragon Boy” vinyl figure — designed by artist Sam Flores and crafted by The Loyal Subjects — was one of the more imaginative toys of recent years, and now TLS have teamed up with Kidrobot to create a gigantic five-foot tall version. This Grey Edition is exclusive to Kidrobot and features extremely detailed gradient blends. Melding Asian motifs with his signature meditative characters, Flores’ Dragon Boy is actually composed of three different pieces to create the illusion of the dragon floating through the clouds. The original Kid Dragon featured five color ways back in 2009, which all sold out. But only six units of The Loyal Subjects x Kidrobot Grey Edition Dragon Boy sculpture will be made available worldwide, and sold exclusively through Kidrobot for $6,500.
