I know, I know — a lot of Coachella stuff going on here right now but what can I say, it’s on my mind. This weekend the infamous Ace Hotel Palm Springs, one of the epicenters of lascivious debauchery in the desert valley, turns their poolside den of festivities into a two weekend-long pop-up shop:
“Coinciding with Los Angeles artist Steven Harrington’s collaborative shoe project with the Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs and Generic Surplus, Harrington designed a capsule collection of desert-themed essentials to be launched at the Roadside Attraction pop-up shop during the Coachella music festival. Elements of Harrington’s chalk drawings in the surrounding desert are carried over onto bandanas, tees, tanks and towels complementing the colorways of the Generic Surplus shoe collection.”
The Roadside Attraction pop-up shop loaded with Harrington’s fine art, clothes, tees, bandanas, shoes and other curiosities will be on display at The Ace Hotel & Swim Club — along with a large custom mural — starting this Coachella weekend and through to the next. Drop on by, and tell them LIAS sent you…
