Next week we’ll be heading north to San Francisco to usher in the global launch of Lexus’ all-new 2013 LS flagship sedan at a private exhibit curated by masterful aesthetes Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan. The event will feature an exhibition by some of the world’s rising photojournalists who, as Lexus says, “artfully capture the many magnetic qualities that make something an object of desire… It is sure to be a provocative and playful exploration.” Original art by Ellen von Unwerth — she of the most excellent Fräulein book — will be shown, with curators/designers Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler in attendance.

To mark the occasion, Lost In a Supermarket in conjunction with Lexus is offering a trivia contest for a chance to win a $250 gift card to JonathanAdler.com. We posted three questions related to Lexus, Art and Design below — all themes central to next week’s event. To win all you have to do is LIKE us on Facebook and email us the answers to the questions below (write “Lexus, Art & Design” in the subject!). The first 10 readers with ALL 3 answers correct will be pooled into a hat, and the winner drawn by luck. No friendly corruption, cronyism, nepotism or despotism here — just one lucky guy (or girl) getting a whole bunch of beautifully appointed Jonathan Adler gear free. Pretty damn easy — what do you have to lose? This will go quick, so answer now and we’ll post the winner tomorrow.

1: What make of camera was used to take photographs when man first set foot on the moon in 1969?

2: With which 20th century art movement were Salvador Dali, René Magritte, and André Breton associated?

3: In how many colors is the Lexus LFA supercar available?

Good luck, and we’re sure to have updates fresh from Frisco next week…
