As part of the consistently gangsta Breaking Gifs project, Vannen Watches and artist/toy designer Tristan Eaton have teamed up to create the first ever time piece of the Breaking Bad-themed campaign. The piece is inspired by the season 3 bottle episode “Fly,” which was almost entirely contained in the methlab. The watch looks exactly like what a Breaking Bad watch should look like, but instead of displaying a classic hand and dial (because that’s just network TV boring), the face resembles a pressure gauge and the band is decorated with exact measurement markings around the wrist. Encased in the glass is a life size fly; a little pest that could ruin an entire batch of Blue Sky and would surely drive Walter White insane. On the reverse side of the case you’ll find a skull & cross bones wearing a recognizable black hat and sunglasses, Heisenberg style. The “Contaminant” watch will be released to fans but in an extremely limited run, as only 200 pieces will go on sale at $80 dollars each.
