When a film series has been running since 1962, it’s kind of a big deal. And when it’s a film series like, say, James Bond? It just may be an even bigger deal. In celebration of Skyfall, the 23rd installment of the 007 movies and the 50th anniversary of the James Bond Films, renowned British luggage maker Globe-Trotter is doing Bond fans worldwide justice by releasing a custom-made Stabilist case. An exact replica of the rifle case Globe-Trotter produced for the film, the case’s interior is decked out in diamond-quilted Alcantara lining with a telescopic rifle sight as the handle. Only 100 of the cases will be produced in Broxbourne, Hertfortshire, and like other special editions each is individualized with its own distinct serial number. The 007 Stabilist case from the Globe-Trotter James Bond Collection retails at about $8,900 (£5,000) and will be and available select Globe-Trotter retail locations worldwide.
