An $8,500 item from soon-retiring Japanese streetwear label

Although mastermind JAPAN announced plans to shut its doors In 2013, that has not stopped the premium streetwear label from producing a prolific output of menswear and continuing collaborations. The latest being this indigo-dye denim jacket for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 season, a gorgeous but extremely limited edition piece of gear. The raw denim jacket is lined with 100% rabbit fur which can be seen even when fully buttoned, and is highlighted by a blue MMJ band in the upper arm featuring mastermind JAPAN’s signature skull and crossbones logo. Of course with anything mastermind JAPAN the pricetag won’t be cheap — but even this seems wildly exaggerated: expect to pay approximately $8,500 (£5,315 GBP) for the  mastermind JAPAN Indigo Raw Denim Jacket… if you can find it, that is.
