It is that time of year again, when CNN releases its Year In Pictures finalists. 2012 had no shortage of dramatic events from which to draw from, and the images selected certainly paint a vivid picture of what it was like to live through those watershed events. The turmoil in Syria, the London Summer Olympics, Hurricane Sandy, monumental elections in American and Egypt, Sudanese bloodshed and much more all are covered beautifully with images that manage to evoke the sheer power of those moments.
