After having recently released his remix of Ask for Janice, an comic book ode to his favorite Beastie Boy’s album Paul’s Boutique, American comic artist and illustrator Jim Mahfood is now releasing the latest edition of his “Scum of the Earth” series. This third issue of the artbook/comic/zine series features 32 pages of art, sketches, bad ideas and Mahfood’s unique sense of humor — plus part 3 of the epic ‘Brick-Brain & Jazz Jazz’ comic. The book is now available in a Regular Edition as well as a Deluxe Collector’s Edition for $40, which features a unique hand-drawn cover and is limited to only 50 copies, each created, signed and numbered by Mahfood himself.
