Reinvigorating the French brand's innovative intentions

Under the creative direction of Christophe Pillet, Design Director at Lacoste,, the French brand looks to regain its once lofty place as an innovator in product design. Enter their Lacoste Lab project, wherein the Biting Crocodile collaborates with a variety of top brands to create a suite of well-curated products — including everything from skate and snow boards to footballs and volleyballs. To us, the most interesting pieces are the two helmets designed in conjunction with French studio Design GPA, who’ve crafted both a ski/snowboarding helmet (above) and a motorcycle helmet (below). Included above are also the Lacoste Lab goggles built in collaboration with Dragon. The whole collection can be found now at colette — expect to pay $470 for the ski helmet and $440 for the Jet motorcycle helmet.
