A cherubic limited edition collaboration in footwear form

We’ve seen Jeremy Scott lay his madness on several silhouettes for his adidas Originals collections, but this is the first time he’s collaborated on a modern basketball shoe. This time the LA designer teams up with Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose for a unique spin on Rose’s signature adidas D Rose 3.5 sneaker. Taking the dollar-bill carrying cherubs found on his upcoming adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Scott laces the otherwise minimal high-top in gold. The limited edition shoe also boasts Scott’s logo on the tongue and sockliner, while Rose’s logo only appears on the outside of the tongue in black. The Jeremy Scott D Rose 3.5 will be dropping this Saturday, July 6, for $225 at select adidas retailers.

  1. President Barack Obama should use the breathing space provided by the fiscal-cliff compromise to address some of the issues that he shelved during his last term. One of the most urgent is child farm labor. Perhaps the least protected, underpaid work force in American labor, children are often the go-to workers for farms looking to cut costs.

  2. “No, I don’t think so,” Biden said with a wry grin.
