Lexus is returning to the two-door game with their RC Coupe, set to premier at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month (November 20th). Utilizing the new design DNA that is working its way through the Lexus line-up (and most finely executed in the superb IS 350), the RC Coupe features the sharp stamping, beautiful linework and large “spindle” grill that has come to define the luxury brand. The RC will be available with either a 3.5-liter V6 engine or an eco-minded hybrid called the RC 300h — based on a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder. Other nice design flourishes include deeply sculpted 10-spoke 19-inch wheels, a purpose-built upwards-reflecting Lexus-first lighting package, high contrast interior trim and genuine shimamoku wood highlights. Look out for more info on the RC Coupe when the Tokyo Motor Show rolls around later this month.
