In the not too distant future (actually, not until this April), in a galaxy far, far away (meaning Hong Kong), New Era will be releasing a new line of Star Wars-influenced 59fifty caps. With six styles representing six characters — R2-D2, C-3PO, both Boba and Jango Fett, a stormtrooper and everyone’s dark-side fave, Darth Vader — with signature features all cleverly integrated into the cap, this may just be the Star Wars streetwear collector’s dream. Unless, that is, you’re the kind of collector whose inner princess just won’t feel complete without having some hair buns hot-glued to the sides of your cap (when’s that limited edition Leia flat bill dropping, New Era?). Each cap will also come with a Kidrobot figurine as well — it’s like Star Wars action figures all over again, but with Jedi swagger. Available in either fitted or snap back styles, the Star Wars x New Era Black Label Hat Collection is set to hit Hong Kong in April, and should run about $100 each.
