A scooter worth being seen on

Normally I wouldn’t be caught dead on a scooter, unless I was A) a sororeity girl or B) zipping around some Caribbean island in flip flops and a helmet made of discarded coconuts. But I would make an exception for the Yamaha CP250, whose futuristic looks began life as a concept, but has now been geared into production by Yamaha.Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the Maxam CP250 is available only in Japan (you knew that was coming, didn’t you?). At about $7500 MSRP you’re not getting too much bang for the buck, however, as its 250cc engine only outputs a meek 20 hps — hopefully its futuristic stylings will keep people from noticing how slow you’re going…
