Deus Ex Machina's ode to cheap bike making

Australian custom motorcycle builders Deus Ex Machina created this video of the Boundless Enthusiasm Bike Build Off event they put on the 27th of November at the Deus compound in Camperdown. As they write: “Ladies and genitals, dust off your Whitworths and recalibrate your King Dongs in readiness. It’s time to close your eyes and imagine a happy place, a place without boundaries where old American iron crossbreeds with 80s Japanese sport monsters. Where a rigid rear XR600 is a perfectly good idea and we really can’t think why Honda didn’t do it in the first place. The Deus Boundless Enthusiasm Bike Build Off is is a contest of creativity and resourcefulness: the victor will have spent the least and created the most original bike, from ingots of 18 carat enthusiasm.” Open to all-comers, the bikes were  judged by a crew of judges, and there were no rules other than the bikes had be made as cheaply as possible (and of course had to run). Hats off to Deus for constantly feeding the culture which helped create them.
