The famed Italian design firm Pininfarina has decided to collaborate with the good people at Bovet for a second time. Teaming up once before for Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, the great response to their collaboration — notably Pininfarina’s first watch design — has encouraged them to re-unite to create the Amadeo45. Made of stainless steel and coated in black DLC, the solid and modern timepiece features 35 jewels and a power reserve of 50 hours. But what makes the watch special is its versatility: the Amadeo45 Cambiano Chronograph can be shown off traditionally on your wrist, or if you wish to add some Old World charm to your gear you can stow away the removable wristband and convert it into a sturdy, yet handsome, pocket watch.
