Dutch company designs eco-friendly bike with power and comfort
Designed with comfort and aesthetic appeal in mind, the Orphiro is a wide-bodied cruiser that’s completely battery powered. With slight cues to the retro styles of the British ‘40s and ‘50s bobber motorcycles, it’s quite likely the crowd of James Dean, Steve McQueen and Paul Newman would’ve enjoyed this electric 2-wheeler. With a top speed of 75 mph, a battery range of 60 miles and a design as appealing as this, it’s possible the Ophiro might have some traction in the marketplace. The bike doesn’t launch until September so in the mean time you’ll simply have to keep coming back to check out the photos from the initial design to conception.
