I hated doing book reports in school. Being called up in front of the class and given the 3rd degree by the teacher about the book you were suppose to read…but of course didn’t seem to have time for. Thank god for Cliff Hillegass and the notes he invented. Those simple literary explanations have saved my ass more than the Morning After pill. And it looks like Cliff might be coming back into my life.
I dig these book-inspired shirts (“Catch 22”, “Catcher in the Rye”, “Death of a Salesman” and “The Great Gatsby”) from Mustache Brigade, but they do require a bit of homework—at least on my part. Last thing I’d want is to be called out and stumped on some Holden Caulfield or Willy Loman trivia. That would almost be as bad as wearing some iconic ‘80s Judas Priest concert tee and not being able to namecheck Screaming for Vengeance. Talk about embarrassing…
Check out the other shirts after the jump…

I have Gatsby, Catcher, and Catch-22.
I’m reading Invisible Man now. Unfortunately (and fortunately, i guess), they aren’t selling too well and Catch-22 was only $10!!
